The New Years Day 24 Global Stream Parade

An organic and community driven celebration of fediverse adjacent broadcasters, streamers, makers and artists using open, community, self-hosted alternative platforms in the spirit of #JoinIn and #SitTogether. A catalyst for some fun hangouts and hopefully discovery of some of the cool things going on in non-mainstreaming for your holiday or anti-holiday or just plain day. This is not a produced or centralised event and this page is a schedule reference and not meant for duration viewing.

If an event is nearing its end you can reload this page from 58 past an hour and the embedded preview video for the next event should update. We highly recommend going to the host broadcast page for best results and to particpate in each streamer's chat if applicable.

We will staff the RFF owncast chat for as much of the parade as possible to act as a lobby, fall back chat if not available on the current stream (if you can multi window you dont have to play our video), emergency fill-in content, parade route traffic management, welcome centre, info desk, other duties as required.
